Correction

My apologies for an error in my last post. A newspaper article gave me the impression that our only opportunity for comment on the Toowoomba Regional Council's draft Concept Plan for Peacehaven Botanic Park was by turning up at a local shopping centre this coming Saturday.
You can also comment (and please do) by downloading a questionnaire from  http://www.toowoombarc.qld.gov.au/facilities-and-recreation/sport-and-leisure-facilities/plansprojects/peacehaven-park.html
Click on  "Peacehaven Park Survey", print out the form, and post it to the address on the form, to be received by the closing date of 7 July.
I believe that many people would like to see Toowoomba develop a park whose focus is on plants of the Darling Downs, as well as rare plants from other parts of Australia, and who would like to see the Toowoomba Regional Develop develop such a park where the plants are labelled, so that we know the names of the plants we see there.
If you are one of them,  I encourage you to take advantage of this brief opportunity for community consultation.
