I’m developing a “collection” in situ of dry rainforest species with potential for general use. E. numerosa is a species I’m chasing. Does anyone know of a source for seed. I would be very grateful for assistance.Sandpiperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00927042345252591872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2171765088403710716.post-60261888011103621132020-11-19T16:58:21.395-08:002020-11-19T16:58:21.395-08:00Hi Frank.

Occasionally the year's crop is so pale as to be almost white. I think they are brighter in the years with better rainfall, but am not certain.
TrishPatricia Gardnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13492643179276780524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2171765088403710716.post-53290432719783766812020-11-16T03:53:53.489-08:002020-11-16T03:53:53.489-08:00Trish I have one growing now in South Burnett, but...Trish I have one growing now in South Burnett, but it has orange flowers. When we lived in Toowoomba in VacyStreet , we had a huge one in the back yard. We had to prune it back from the neighbour’s place, a branch covered half their yard and they were worried it would fall. We had to cut it back generally, the borders had got to it, but it still remained a large tree.

Frank S.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2171765088403710716.post-53577515192422003122016-06-14T00:48:12.477-07:002016-06-14T00:48:12.477-07:00Thanks for that.

The furrowed bark doesn't look anything like Erythrina Numerosa. We have 20m tall Numerosa here and they are very much smooth barked (no corking/furrowing, not even grey in colour, more yellowy/green). Thank you for a very informative website.Davisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2171765088403710716.post-15125261497794799952010-04-01T18:39:05.033-07:002010-04-01T18:39:05.033-07:00They are lovely things, aren't they? They probably get up to 6 metres or more, here, on sheltered slopes.
And yes, people are often surprised to discover just how many attractive native plants we have in Australia. There are about 25,000 Australian natives - but we have introduced a whopping 27,000 non-natives! No wonder our unique native flora struggles for recognition.Patricia Gardnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04892273329190235852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2171765088403710716.post-34117372159295605012010-03-26T05:22:11.646-07:002010-03-26T05:22:11.646-07:00Hi Patricia,
