These plants were looking their gloriously prickly best for us last weekend on Kingsthorpe Hill. I do love them!

These plants are well named. They are lethal when the die. Stand or lie innocently waiting for you to pick them up. Owwwwwie Plant No 1. Have them by the ton here in St Agnes Qld.
A site about plants indigenous to the basalt soils of inland south-east Queensland, and suitable for use in gardens. The area it covers is roughly bounded by the Great Dividing Range, the Condamine River, the New South Wales border and the Bunya Mountains. Yes, you wouldn't want to touch, them, would you? But they do have a cactus-like appeal!
